About this policy

Juicybet Pty Ltd (we, us, our), trading as JuicyBet, set out here how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the 13 Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). It covers juicybet.co and every related service.

Notice of collection

We collect personal information from you directly when you open an account, verify your identity, deposit or withdraw, place bets, or get in touch. Without the information we need, to confirm your age and identity for example, we may not be able to open or run your account. As you use the site we also pick up device, usage and transaction data automatically.

Information we collect

Your identity and contact details, date of birth, the government identifiers we use to verify you, your transaction and betting history, device and usage data, and anything you write to us.

Why we collect it

To open and run your account, confirm your age and identity, meet our AML/CTF and racing-integrity duties, process payments, catch fraud, give you support, back responsible gambling, and satisfy the law and our regulators.

Identity verification

The AML/CTF Act 2006 (Cth) requires us to verify your identity before you bet. We may do this through document checks and accredited electronic verification services. We will not use that data for marketing unless you agree.

Disclosure

We share personal information with identity-verification providers, payment processors, regulators (the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) and AUSTRAC among them), racing-control bodies for integrity work, and law enforcement where the law requires. We never sell your personal information.

Age verification & minor data protection

Age verification (18+) happens before we collect any data. If we somehow take in the personal information of someone under 18, say because the age gate is bypassed, we do not send it overseas, we delete it at once rather than keep it, we never use it for marketing, analytics or profiling, and we never pass it to third parties. For verified adult users, personal information may be processed internationally as described below.

Overseas disclosure

Some of our providers store or process personal information outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. When information goes overseas we take reasonable steps to see that it is handled in line with the APPs.

Security & retention

We protect your information with reasonable security safeguards and keep it for as long as the law demands, which is seven years for transaction records under the AML/CTF Rules, then securely destroy or de-identify it.

Your rights

Want to see or correct what we hold on you? Email support@juicybet.co. We reply within a reasonable time, and if we cannot grant access or make a change we explain why. Requests are free.

Direct marketing

We market to you only where the law permits, and you can opt out whenever you like, from your account or through the unsubscribe link in any message. Registering with BetStop takes you off every licensed provider's marketing.

Making a privacy complaint

Think we have mishandled your personal information? Email support@juicybet.co. We acknowledge within 2 business days and respond within 30 days. Still unhappy, you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.

Sensitive information

We do not collect sensitive information such as health, racial or religious details, except where you offer it during a responsible-gambling conversation or a complaint, and then only to help you. We put it to no other use.

Automated decision-making

We run automated tools to spot fraud, weigh identity-verification risk and pick up signs of gambling harm. These may flag an account for a person to review; any significant decision about you involves a human, and you can ask us to explain it.

Children

This site is for adults of 18 and over, and we do not knowingly collect anything from under-18s. If we find that an account belongs to a minor, we close it and void any bets.
